Gordon College's historic home field for men's and women's soccer, The Quad, is located directly in the heart of campus and is adjacent to the soccer practice facility. Bordered by academic, residential, music, and administrative buildings of the college, The Quad has been home to Gordon College soccer for decades. "Soccer brings a vitality to the heart of the campus," said former provost, Mark Sargent, "and The Quad lends a spirit of tradition and elegance to each soccer match. It is a wonderful venue."
Formerly the polo field of the Prince estate, the field has an excellent drainage system. The area allows the soccer squads to play on a 115 x 75-yard all-grass field, and is diligently maintained by the college's excellent grounds department. In inclement weather, the Men's Soccer team uses the Brigham Athletic Complex, Gordon's all-weather synthetic field.
The location of the Quad helps emphasize the connection between athletics and academics at Gordon. The Quad is also the location of the start and finish lines for the campus’ cross country course, and has played host to the field hockey and lacrosse programs in the past.
The Brigham Athletic Complex features a synthetic turf field (2018) which is the home of the lacrosse and field hockey programs as well as a backup facility for soccer. Surrounding the field is an eight lane, all-weather track complete with spaces and facilities needed to host an official NCAA track and field meet. Additionally, six tennis courts serve as the home of the Fighting Scots tennis teams. The complex is accessible by foot from the main campus on a walkway around the baseball field or by car entering from Hull Street.
